Thornton Heath Afrobeat Orchestra (THABO) is the project of South London Jazz Musicians and Educators Edward Cubitt, and Mark Stitson.

The concept was prototyped in Summer of 2022,  joined by Samba Percussionist Edgar Deu. They developed and delivered contemporary performance workshops for local young people using Edward's 'Music is Easy' method. 

 

Music is Easy is a music learning method Edward developed over 8 years of teaching and practice as a Specialist in Neurodiversity and Music Education.

Music is Easy gives all learners an accessible and fun pathway to learn the foundations of Western Music through Play and Creative exploration.
